Pile it on...

Layering has always been a technique that I've wanted to master.  It's not easy layering without looking bulky and quite often that's exactly how I've felt.  Being a curvaceous woman, adding layers isn't always flattering.  I decided to layer this blouse over a simple knit dress... and topped it off with my moto jacket.  I bought this blouse from Old Navy a few months back and it has been a key item in layering.  Its versatility is everything - I've paired it with jeans, leggings, dresses and shorts. It has become a staple piece in my clothing rotation.  Layering is also perfect for transitioning spring/summer clothing into the Fall/Winter seasons.

EJ Style Tip: Layer clothing made of thin fabrics to avoid excess bulkiness.  Your chunkiest piece should be the top layer.

  1. I love the layer look, really beautiful.

  2. Thanks Tereza... I hope to get into more layers as the weather gets colder here in NYC.
